What you need
Open to everyone
High school graduates, gap year students or enrolled students: you can apply whatever your major.
English, no certificate
Udayana does not ask for a language certificate. All lectures are in English, so you should feel comfortable following them.
Travel health insurance
You need travel health insurance for your whole stay and must be able to show it on request in Bali.
How your semester works
Mix and match: choose the courses that fit you, across all concentrations.
The courses are grouped into four concentrations, three basic subjects that give you a solid footing in Indonesia and Asia’s economies, and an optional project. You are free to combine them: take up to seven courses (up to 35 ECTS) from any of these groups.
The only fixed course is Bahasa Indonesia, which every student takes and which counts as one of your seven.

Your campus in Jimbaran
Lush gardens, 15 minutes from the airport.
You study in the GoBali building on Udayana’s Jimbaran campus on Bali’s southern peninsula. It is one of the university’s most beautiful campuses: modern classrooms set in a tropical garden, with beaches, cafés and shopping just a few minutes away.

Good to know
Credits (ECTS)
Your grades are based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which makes study periods abroad comparable and easy to recognize.
Attendance
You need at least 75% attendance to sit the exams, whatever the reason for an absence. It counts from the first day of orientation week.
Final exams
Exams take place in the last week of the semester. Basic and concentration subjects end with a 60-minute written exam.
Certificates
Your official certificate from Udayana University arrives as a PDF about 6 to 8 weeks after the exams. The original can be sent by DHL Express on request.
